The Nature of Existence

Coming to Blu-Ray and DVD November 23!

Filmmaker Roger Nygard (Trekkies) takes on The Nature of Existence, roaming the globe to interview spiritual leaders, scientists, and artists who have influenced, inspired, or freaked out humanity.

Why are we here, and what are we supposed to do about it? What started the Universe, and was it a mistake? Does God exist, and why does he seem so interested in our sex lives? After exploring the phenomenon of Trekkies, filmmaker Roger Nygard took on The Nature of Existence. Nygard wrote down the toughest 85 questions he could think of, roamed the globe to the source of each of the world's philosophies, religions, and belief systems, and interviewed people who have influenced, inspired, or freaked out humanity.

His travels highlight the words of such luminary figures as Indian holy man Sri Sri Ravi Shankar (The Art of Living), evolutionary biologist Richard Dawkins (The God Delusion), 24th generation Chinese Taoist Master Zhang Chengda, Stanford physicist Leonard Susskind (co-discoverer of string theory), wrestler Rob Adonis (founder of Ultimate Christian Wrestling), confrontational evangelist Brother Jed Smock, novelist Orson Scott Card (Ender's Game), director Irvin Kershner (Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back), Stonehenge Druids Rollo Maughfling & King Arthur Pendragon and many more....

Combining an investigative approach with a spiritual quest, the film is a humorous yet uplifting search for enlightenment, presenting some of the most challenging ideas and extraordinary people you'll ever see.

[COLIN] The Zombie Invasion Begins

The surprise hit of the Cannes Film Festival, "Colin," a British zombie movie that cost only $75 (£45) to produce, made its North American Premiere at the 13th Floor Haunted House in San Antonio, Texas on Thursday, September 23, 2010, and opened in Chicago on Friday, September 24th, 20110 - moving to theaters nationwide in September and October.

"Colin" is a new take on the traditional zombie film genre, telling the tale through the eyes of the zombie, played by 29-year-old Alastair Kirton.

Filmmaker Marc Price made headlines around the world when his DIY movie gained critical acclaim for being a fresh voice in a well-worn genre and was hailed as "redefining no-budget film-making.

After news of the film was featured on US television networks including CNN, ABC, and CBS - before finding a U.S. distributor, which Price is thrilled to have gotten.

The 13th Floor Haunted House is San Antonio's largest haunted house attraction and the newest attraction to the America Haunts network of professional haunted houses, regarded as some of America's best haunted houses, including the House of Torment in Austin, TX and the 13th Floor and Asylum in Denver, CO.

Price made COLIN for around $75 in cash - spent mostly on a crowbar - and tea and cookies for the zombies. He relied on friends and Facebook to cast his legion of undead extras. It took over 18 months and buckets of determination for Price to make the movie on a 10-year-old camcorder that broke during the shoot.

"If our film does anything, hopefully it will make some 14-year old who wishes to make a movie, say 'Oh, it's entirely possible, because my mobile phone has a better resolution than this guy's camcorder.' I am excited by the idea of people watching my cheap little film and thinking 'If this guy can do it, then so can I.'"
